Ticonderoga — A dinner will be held to assist two ill members of a local family.
There will be a spaghetti dinner Saturday, May 5, 4 to 7 p.m. at the Ticonderoga American Legion on Montcalm Street.
Tickets will be $6 for adults, $5 for children and six for $25. Take-out meals will be available.
There will also be a basket raffle. Raffle tickets will be 10 for $5 and 25 for $10.
Also available will be blue/white swirled bracelets with the words “Faith, Hope, Love” printed on them for $2 each. There will be youth and adult sizes.
The benefit will assist Becky Blowers and Jose Rodriguez of Crown Point with expenses they may have while their 5-month-old baby Jose Tylor is in Boston Children’s Hospital. A quarter of the money raised will go to Becky’s twin sister Vicky Blowers, who is fighting cancer.
Jose Tylor was born with congenital diaphragmatic hernia. His also suffers from bacteria infections that are affecting his lungs. He has been hospitalized at the Boston Children’s Hospital since birth. He’s expected to be at the hospital for an extended period of time.
