Gabe Macey led Crown Point past Schroon Lake, 5-4, in Northern Soccer League boys action Oct. 18.

Crown Point win against Schroon Lake with a final score 5 to 4
Macey scored three goals, including the game winner, and had two assists for the Panthers.
Schroon Lake came back twice in the contes before falling. Crown Point raced to a 2-0 lead and the Wildcats rallied for a 2-2 tie. Crown Point moved to a 4-2 lead and the ‘Cats came back again to forge a 4-4 tie.
Macey’s third goal finally secured the Crown Point win.
Mike Enman scored twice for the Panthers and Joe Foote added a pair of assists.
Schroon Lake got two goals from Jesse Shaughnessy. Tanner Stone and Justin Lough also tallied for the Wildcats. Bob Rose had an assist.
Brendon Crowningshield made 13 saves in goal for Crown Point.
Caleb Maisonville recorded 11 saves for Schroon Lake.
Girls soccer
Lake Placid 2, Moriah 1
Moriah fell to Lake Placid, 2-1, in Northern Soccer League girls play Oct. 18.
Laura Stanton and Liza Marinis scored for the Bombers.
Trailing 2-0, Sarah Slattery tallied for Moriah late in the contest.
Lauren Cross made 11 saves for Moriah.
